Ghana is building ties with the fastest growing Asian Tiger, China, to boost her economic development through trade facilitation and technology transfer.
To set the ball rolling to achieving this target, Ghana would, from June 19 to 21, 2019, be hosting the 3rd China Trade Week (CTW) at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) to network businesses from this part of the world and the emerging economic power.
Activities to mark the 3rd consultative edition of the annual tradeshow, CTW Ghana, for the three days would be the exhibition of varieties and high-end Chinese manufacturers looking to develop long term relations with local buyers.
Also there would be an opportunity for professionals in the retail, wholesale, distribution, import/export and entrepreneurs to engage.
Zahoor Ahmed, International Events Director at the organising firm, MIE Groups, on Monday at a press conference, indicated that the 3rd CTW 2019 hoped to build on the successful expansion of belt and roads.
According to him, the exhibition is a follow-up of the successful belt and road forum in Beijing, where heads of governments from across the globe agreed to lift the New Silk Road to the next level by promoting share growth and collaboration.
